The opportunity was to create a poster in the aesthetic style of a WPA poster. This poster was designed for a planetarium show at the University of South Carolina Aiken called Dark Shadows. The show explains the phases of the moon and its shadows. The poster exemplifies this by portraying a phase of an eclipse and has two shadows cast in the background. The darker shadow representing shadows on the moon because of the lack of atmosphere that does not refract light and for opposite reasons the other shadow represents shadows on the earth.
